While Finland may not have the sheer number of acts that its local neighbour Sweden has been producing, the country does have a strong reputation for producing very forward-thinking musicians and their latest export ALMA certainly fits that bill.
Hailing from the nation's capital Helsinki, ALMA begun to receive a huge amount of support earlier this year by appearing on producer Felix Jaehn's hit-single 'Bonfire', the video of which has millions of views on YouTube. ALMA has since turned this exposure into something more beneficial to her, and has since released her latest single 'Karma'.
The track ticks all the boxes of a bonafide smash single. With its strong production and post-modern pop direction, not to mention ALMA's flawless vocals, the track has been receiving unanimous praise from around the world and will no doubt become her ticket the big leagues next year.
