Looking back over the artists that have emerged so far in 2017, it is fair to say that this year has produced an incredible wealth of new singer-songwriters, and as we begin to see the year out, we have one more that looks to be making an impact as we head into 2018.
Throughout the year, Scottish 21-year-old Lewis Capaldi has been sweeping audiences off their feet with his incredible voice, and after selling out a number of his upcoming UK tour dates, has now unleashed his debut EP 'Bloom'.
With a strong soul influence, the EP's opening single 'Fade' shows off the kind of pipes that this guy has. With its brooding disposition and strong production, 'Fade' is one of the most essential tracks we have heard from a new artist all year.
