ARTIST OF THE WEEK: No. 184 Lokki

After his formative outfit Glass Animals has proven time and time again to be one of this country's most impressive collectives, the band's Drew McFarlane has now unveiled his intentions as a solo artist by releasing a brand new EP.

Going by the name Lokki, the guitarist has taken a step back from the danceable sound of his better known band to reveal a more stripped back demeanour. The lead single 'Breathe A Breath Of Me' channels his love for the piano and combines that with a gospel vibe to create a truly spellbinding release.

Lokki plans to support the release of the four-track EP 'Cirrhi' with a number of festival appearances later this year, alongside shows at London’s Slaughtered Lamb on the 5th April and another at Brighton’s White Rabbit on the 20th March.
