Following in the footsteps of dark techno juggernauts such as Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery, the ever-emphatic Jack McAllister, better known as Willaris. K, is one of Australia’s best new electronic talents and returns today to unveil his latest EP.
The new seven-track release 'Alchemy' follows up his brilliant single of the same name, released last year. After receiving huge acclaim in his homeland, the track was dubbed Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’ on his Radio 1 show, leading to an international audience that the producer has been maintaining ever since.
Following it up with the equally spectacular 'River Song' and 'Dour Nights', McAllister has now compiled his work to date into this new EP 'Alchemy', which has been released through Alva Street/AWAL from today. With its deep yet spacious moments, the 'Alchemy' EP manages to breathe a whole new sense of direction into the world of techno and will likely become one of the genre's highlights of the year.
