ARTIST OF THE WEEK: No. 219 Andrews'

Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee was obviously going to have a musical impact on the young singer/producer Michael Cronin, known as Andrews'. Taking influence from his hometown and all across the United States, the frontman made a spectacular debut earlier this year with his initial single 'Through The Night'. And now he returns to continue his upward ascent with the release of his next captivating cut 'Lost In The Fire'.

Produced by Justin Amundred, 'Lost In The Fire' is that wonderfully heady mix of ambient soundscapes with a strong and structure pop backbone. Gathering comparisons to the likes of The War On Drugs, except with a more subtle tone, Andrews' has managed to spin his focus and direction into something more well-rounded and proficient than we usually get to hear with others in his ilk.

Speaking about his latest single, the frontman added, “The song came from a place of realization that constantly wanting to escape whatever situation that I might be in probably isn’t the best idea and to learn how to really accept your surroundings for what they are at that time.”
