Having originally been a professional recording artist under her own name, Kiara Saulters has spent the last few years rebuilding her image and sound into something far removed from the acoustic singer-songwriter she used to be. Now known as Kiiara, this young talent has already taken her home nation of the States by storm and it looks like we could start to see a lot more of her in the UK as well.
The success of her 2015 single 'Gold' paved the way for the release of her debut EP 'low iii savage' through Atlantic Records earlier this year, which brought on comparisons to the likes of Lorde and Sia. Her trap-inspired production along with atmospheric vocals has given her a sound that stands out from most downtempo pop material and the songs themselves still resonate with you long after they are over.
While plans to release an album have yet to surface, we are confident that it is only a matter of time before we hear a lot more of Kiiara.
