Many artists emerging this year have been looking back on the musical timeline for their inspiration but none have developed that nostalgic sound in the same way as Shura. Taking notes from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Whitney Huston, and Warren G and bringing it to the modern age, she has built a whole new sound that is both fresh and familiar.
Breaking through before the summer with her seminal single 'Touch', a track that has amassed more than 2million views on Youtube, she has shown that quality music can still generate an overnight success for a new artist and it looks like the kudos will keep on coming.
Currently only holding a bunch of singles to her name, Shura has slowly started to gather a devout following of fans across the world, and with her latest single 'Indecision' already exploding on the underground, she is already well on her way to becoming the next big sound of 2015.
No plans for an album or EP just yet, but this slow process she has been working on for the best part of a year is still paying off dividends, so we won't be rushing her just yet.
