Following on from the release of her highly-praised studio album 'Feathers' earlier this year, which received support from the likes of BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing, London-based artist Austel is back on the grind once again as she delivers her tender new single 'Cut Me Down'.
Channelling more of that warm and illustrious sound she has been developing over the last few years, 'Cut Me Down' sees her return with one of her most passionate releases to date. With her rich and sweeping voice layered over a humbled, piano-led production, she is continuing her ascent as one of the more heartfelt names on the rise right now.
While her recent full-length was jam-packed with fresh and innovative offerings, 'Cut Me Down' makes for a wonderfully enticing listen as well. With such a firm and confident grasp over her songwriting and sound throughout, she is certainly one we will find ourselves coming back to again and again.
