Christian Wethered returns with new single 'Into the Garden'

After establishing himself as one of the progressive names on the underground circuit these last few years, Dublin-based artist Christen Wethered now makes his eagerly-awaited return to deliver his vibrant new single 'Into The Garden'.

Marking his first piece of new material in two years, 'Into The Garden' makes for an incredibly rich and shimmering return for him. Accompanied by a stunning live video, filmed by Nestor Romero Clemente at Christchurch, Rathgar, he is certainly looking to sweep us off our feet with this one.

Speaking about the new offering, he said, “This lonely song charts the tragic but necessary shattering of one’s ideas of perfection, innocence, and home. Once they have left, the lovers cannot return to the Garden of Eden – similarly, each new experience, while beautiful, also has an element of sacrifice. I grew up in Sussex and have spent the last 20 years in and out of Ireland. The increasing number of homeless refugees on the streets of Dublin, the catastrophic conflict in Russia and the Ukraine, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza only serve to problematise our concept of home beyond our wildest conceptions."
