Following on from a flurry of rich and immersive offerings these last few years, Sheffield-based artist and producer Cobbler returns once again to deliver his innovative third studio album 'Songs, Delayed'.
Capturing more of that broad and adventurous aesthetic he has looked to bring to all of his material over the years, 'Songs, Delayed' makes for a wonderfully enchanting listen throughout. Filled with warm and driven textures, a sweeping atmosphere, and his own mesmerising vocals at the helm, his latest collection cements him as one of the more inventive names doing the rounds right now.
While his catalogue to date remains littered with plenty of fresh and dynamic delights, 'Songs, Delayed' shows that he still has plenty of bold and exciting ideas in which to pursue. With such a firm and confident approach to his sound and production from start to finish, this is definitely one release we'll be coming back to again and again.
