The Drums deliver new single 'Obvious'

With their eagerly-awaited new album set to arrive in the near future, The Drums have now dropped the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Obvious' follows on from the previously shared tracks 'I Want It All' and 'Plastic Envelope / Protect Him Always' in previewing their soon-to-be-announced sixth LP, which is due out soon.

Speaking about the new offering, the band's Jonny Pierce said, “Unwavering love has shown itself to be stronger than any of my fears and self-protections. "Obvious" is a joyous song about that transformative moment, of finally lifting up my head, opening my eyes, and finding steadfast love surrounding me from all angles. It’s about the realization that I’ve been loved all along, but I am just now feeling safe enough to let myself see it.”
