Fleetwood Mac will headline Isle Of Wight Festival

In what could possibly be the biggest musical coup of the festivals next year, Fleetwood Mac will headline the Sunday night of next year's Isle Of Wight Festival, despite originally being heavily rumoured for Glastonbury earlier in the year.

The band originally turned down Glastonbury to embark on an arena tour throughout the UK, but have opted for the Isle Of Wight as part of a festival exclusive.

In a statement, the band said, "We've always wanted to come to the UK to play The Isle of Wight Festival, and so we are delighted that in 2015, we are finally making it happen! So many of our fellow artists and friends have played at this historic event over the years, and we can't wait to see all of our fans on the island next summer."

The Isle Of Wight Festival 2015 will take place at Seaclose Park on the Isle Of Wight from the 11th-14th June, with tickets going on sale on Friday 5th December at 9am from www.isleofwightfestival.com.
