What were the first instruments you fell in love with?

Luckily the three of us fell in love with our main instruments immediately after finding out about them. We felt an immediate connection with each of these; the way they sound and the way they interact with other instruments Seemed magical to our junior ears.

What has been the most prominent inspiration behind your music so far?

Honestly each of us have been the biggest inspiration to each other. We find when we work with each other we are far more creative than when we work with others.

What kind of music did you love as teenagers?

The three of us listened to very similar music while growing up. We all had a love of rock music and genres surrounding it. A big band for the three of us was AC/DC and Sabbath. In our later teenagers we all shared a love for The 1975.

Can you remember the first song that made you want to pursue a life in music?

For myself (Jasper) the big song for me was in your eyes by Peter Gabriel. There were other bands That my parents brought me up listening to so I had quite a colourful music background. I believe that this is why now I have such a broad taste in music. Jamie and Ben had much the same thing.

When you wake up in the morning, what kind of music do you like to listen to?

It differs from day today with us being in lockdown sometimes we have more somber days than others. Sometimes I might wake up and want to listen to Elvis Costello, some days days I might want something more upbeat like plastic glass or picnic.

How many of your songs have you written about people in your life?

All of them... All... Of... Them...

What have been the most memorable moments in your career so far?

The following may or may not be true for legal reasons.

Probably on our way back from Newcastle after a gig late one night. We had a fully laden say at Ibiza 1.4 chill spec, just for clarity. Ben has always fancied him self as something of a rally driver. He was piloting the vehicle I myself (Jasper) in the passenger seat and Jamie in the back seat wedged between guitar amps, bass amps and a drum kit. Ben made a turn with such speed in figure we saw our lives flash before our young eyes. He barely saved the spin before correcting the car straight on into the path of a lamppost. Then after quite a lot of shouting he manoeuvred away from the oncoming obstacle and got us all back on the right path. We didn’t speak for the rest of the journey.

Outside of music, what are your biggest passions?

Outside of music our biggest passions are with beer, art, culture, food, poetry, art, beer, culture and repetition but not in that order.

If you weren’t musicians, what other path do you think you might have taken?

This is a tricky one we can’t really see a path outside of music.

And what advice would you give to those looking to start a career in music?

Practice practice practice learn your craft get together with other like-minded individuals and most importantly have a lot of fun.
