What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

Guitar. I had a cheap acoustic guitar as a kid, but had no idea how to play it. Later, when I gained an interest, there was no guitar around, but I found a guitar neck somewhere, and was training my fingers, imagining sounds in my head.

What kind of music did you love when you were younger?

Mix of electronic music of the 90s and heavy metal subgenres.

What was the first album you remember owning?

Prodigy — the fat of the land.

What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?

Opeth — Ghost of perdition.

Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?

I try to finish the work in progress, before starting anything new. Otherwise it turns into a pile of unfinished work.

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

Lately I was relistening some classics from different genres. Carbon based lifeforms, Hiromi Uehara, Exivious, P.O.D., Boards of Canada.

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

Drab Majesty.

What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?

Seeing your soul being materialised in a real world.

And what is the most frustrating part?

That sometimes your soul doesn't want to do that.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Don't try to get everything perfect.
