gloomy june take on Metric's 'Black Sheep'

Following on from the release of their highly-praised debut EP 'Popsick' in recent months, San Francisco-based outfit gloomy june continue their run of form with a cover of Metric's iconic single 'Black Sheep'.

Originally made famous on the soundtrack for Scott Pilgrim VS The World, their new rendition of 'Black Sheep' matches the same intense energy as the original, combined with their own vibrant pop-rock flair throughout. Bringing back more of that riveting sound they are known for, they not only do this sentimental release proud, but also build upon its soaring energy as well.

Throughout the last year, gloomy june have been quick to mark themselves as one of the more exciting names on the rise right now, and this new offering seals an extremely impressive twelve months for the four-piece. With a new collection currently in the works on the horizon, we can't wait to hear what they come back with next.
