The Lowtones release debut EP 'Front Row Empty'

Having already made themselves known around their hometown of Norwich these last few years, including performing on the BBC Introducing stage at Wild Paths Festival, post-punk newcomers The Lowtones are now looking to cement their legacy to date with their vibrant debut EP 'Front Row Empty'.

Originally formed just one month before the world descended into lockdown, The Lowtones have brought that sense of isolation and uncertainty to their initial collection. Channelling a raw and pulsing post-punk vibe throughout, taking cues from the likes of The Cure and The Jesus And Mary Chain, their newest material is a dark and gloomy affair that still manages to find moments of joy. With its bold and driven texture, there is rarely a moment where they falter or lose sight of their distinctive sound.

Things may only just beginning for The Lowtones, but it is clear they have a strong vision for themselves moving forward. 'Front Row Empty' is a bright and vivid array of powerful anthems that look set to serve them very well in the years ahead.
