After originally establishing himself with his breakthrough debut album 'Tidal Islands' back in 2014, Irish songwriter and producer Ciarán O’Rourke aka Strawboy has now made his long-awaited return as he delivers his stunning new single 'Lady Lucia'.
Rekindling more of that rich and effervescent dream-pop direction he first emerged with, 'Lady Lucia' makes for a wonderfully warm and vibrant return. With his light and sweeping voice riding over a bed of bold and adventurous production from start to finish, his eight-year break has certainly been worth the wait.
Despite such a long hiatus between releases, Strawboy has been keeping himself extremely busy as he readies the release of his sophomore collection 'Ithaca Regained', which is set to arrive soon. And with so much strength and confidence lining this new offering, we can't wait to hear what this new record has in store for us as well.
