Alabama Shakes announce new album 'I Must Be Dreaming'

After more than ten years away from the studio spotlight, Alabama Shakes have announced their highly anticipated third album 'I Must Be Dreaming', set for release on the 28th August via Island Records.

Arriving alongside the announcement is news of the band’s latest single 'I Feel Hope Coming', due out this Friday 10th July. The track is said to embody the spirit of the record, pairing uplifting melodies with a message centred on optimism, solidarity and perseverance in uncertain times.

Produced by the band alongside acclaimed producer Shawn Everett, the new album was recorded in Nashville and finds Alabama Shakes venturing further into expansive, psychedelic soul territory. Across the record, themes of love, loss, connection and the strange realities of modern life sit at the forefront.

The project marks the trio’s first full-length release since 2015’s 'Sound & Color', the Grammy-winning album that propelled them to international acclaim. Now reunited and back on the road with a major world tour underway, 'I Must Be Dreaming' signals the beginning of a long-awaited new chapter for one of modern rock’s most distinctive bands.
