Following on from the release of her highly-praised debut single 'Honeymoon Suite' earlier this year, which earned airplay from BBC Introducing and Triple J upon its arrival, emerging artist Lees has returned to deliver her vibrant sophomore effort 'California'.

Naming the likes of Imogen Heap, Laura Marling and Portishead as influences, 'California' showcases a wonderfully broad and adventurous direction for the newcomer. With her ethereal yet emotive vocals riding a wave of bold and passionate production, her newest release looks set to see her make even bigger waves in the near future as she prepares to release her debut EP next year.

Adding about 'California', Lees describes it as "ultimately about the challenges of being in a relationship with someone whilst they’re experiencing growing career success.”
