Billie Eilish announced as Glastonbury 2022 headliner

After both the 2020 and 2021 events had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, Glastonbury has now announced the first headline act set to take the stage at their forthcoming 2022 event.

Billie Eilish has now been confirmed as the headliner for the Friday leg of the festival on the 24th June, making her the youngest solo act to ever headline Glastonbury in its history.

Speaking about the announcement, festival organiser Emily Eavis said, "We couldn’t be happier to announce that the wondrous Billie Eilish is headlining the Pyramid on the Friday at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, becoming the youngest solo headliner in our history. This feels like the perfect way for us to return and I cannot wait!"
