Blood Red Shoes' Laura-Mary Carter announces debut solo mini-album 'Town Called Nothing'

After establishing herself as one half of Blood Red Shoes since 2008, frontwoman Laura-Mary Carter has now announced her plans for her first solo mini-album, arriving later this year.

The new six-track collection 'Town Called Nothing' was recorded in multiple studios between Los Angeles and UK, is being previewed by the record's title-track, and is set to be released on the 3rd December.

Speaking about the new offering, she said, "I found a beat up acoustic guitar and without thinking about it songs just started to come to me. The idea of writing on an acoustic guitar was new to me, I’d always written songs for my band which has a very heavy disposition. I realised that writing in this intimate way exposed my voice and changed the way I was writing and singing lyrics."
