Japanese Breakfast announces new album 'Jubilee'

Following on from the release of her highly-praised 2017 sophomore LP 'Soft Sounds From Another Planet', Japanese Breakfast has now announced her plans for a new studio album, arriving this summer.

The new full-length 'Jubilee' is being previewed by the new lead single 'Be Sweet', which comes accompanied by a stunning self-directed new video, and is set to be released on the 4th June via Dead Oceans.

Speaking about the new offering, she said, “After spending the last five years writing about grief, I wanted our follow up to be about joy. For me, a third record should feel bombastic and so I wanted to pull out all the stops for this one. I wrote ‘Be Sweet’ with Jack Tatum from Wild Nothing a few years ago. I’ve been holding onto it for so long and am so excited to finally put it out there.”
