Katy J Pearson Announces 'Katy J Pearson & Friends Present Songs From The Wicker Man'

Following on from the release of her stunning sophomore LP 'Sound Of The Morning' last year, Katy J Pearson has now announced her plans for a new covers EP, set to drop next month.

The new eight-track collection 'Katy J Pearson & Friends Present Songs From The Wicker Man' will include covers and collaborations of songs originally featured on the soundtrack to the cult 1973 film The Wicker Man. It is being previewed by the new lead single 'Fire Leap', which also features contributions from Wet Leg, Drug Store Romeos & Sarah Meth, and is set to be released on the 31st October via Heavenly Recordings.

Speaking about the EP, Candy Vincent-Smith of STUDIOCANAL, who released the original film said, "Introducing a younger audience to the classic films in our library is so important to us, and so we jumped at the chance to work with Katy J Pearson and Heavenly, to breathe new life into The Wicker Man’s iconic soundtrack. This very special E.P. aims to bring a whole new generation of film and music fans to worship at the feet of this brilliantly scary cult film, in celebration of its 50th Anniversary.”
