Throughout her earlier years, Little Simz established herself as a fresh and groundbreaking name emerging on the London rap scene. With a consistent and forward-thinking approach to modern hip-hop, her first two albums brought her modest acclaim as she continued to push herself at every opportunity. That serious and determined grind fully paid off when she released her 2019 LP 'GREY Area', a collection that broke her free of her underground shackles and saw her explode around the world. Now two years later and two years wiser, she brings back more of that focused momentum on her fourth full-length 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert'.

What really engaged with the general public on 'GREY Area' was the sheer tenacity and visceral nature of her presence. But with 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert', she is more interested in letting us know that she isn't always filled with brimming confidence and a penetrative flow as she looks to open herself up to a more honest and revealing direction this time around. Despite its more open and emotionally-charged approach, she is still very much giving her all on this record, switching between energetic beats and humble RnB grooves to create a more well-rounded and personal vision of herself.
