Little Simz wins Mercury Prize 2022

After the originally scheduled announcement was postponed due to the Queen's death, Little Simz has now been unveiled as the winner of the Mercury Prize 2022.

Winning for her fourth studio album 'Sometimes I Might Be Introvert', she defeated stiff competition from the likes of Self Esteem, Wet Leg, and Harry Styles. The record previously earned her a Libera Award for Best Hip-Hop/Rap Record, and was nominated for both a Brit Award and NME Award for Best Album earlier this year.
