Marika Hackman announces 'Covers' album

Following up the release of her highly-praised 2019 LP 'Any Human Friend', Marika Hackman has now returned to announce a rather special collection.

The new album 'Covers' will see her reinvent a number of her favourite tracks from artists such as Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Beyonce, Muna, Air and many more, is being previewed by her rework of Grimes' ‘Realiti’, and is set to be released on the 13th November via Transgressive Records.

Speaking about the release, she said, “When it comes to covers, I like to pick songs which I have been listening to obsessively for a while. It gives me a natural understanding of the music, and lets me be more innovative with how I transform it.”
