Nick Cave and Warren Ellis surprise release new album 'Carnage'

Despite announcing their plans for a new studio album earlier this year, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have now surprised fans by releasing their new collaborative album 'Carnage' today (25th February).

The new full-length is their first collaboration as just a duo, although the two have regularly worked together as part of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and is available to stream on all major platforms with a physical release on vinyl and CD expected on the 28th May.

Describing the new LP, Nick Cave said, it is “a brutal but very beautiful record nested in a communal catastrophe.”

While Ellis added, “Making Carnage was an accelerated process of intense creativity. The eight songs were there in one form or another within the first two and a half days.”
