The Stone Roses announce three live shows

With rumours circulating yesterday after posters and stickers of their infamous lemon logo began to swarm Manchester, The Stone Roses have announced that they will be playing three live dates next year.

For the first time since their brief reformation in 2012, the band will do two dates at the Etihad Stadium on 17th and 18th June, before going on to headline T In The Park on 8th July 2016.

The Stone Roses had been firm favourites to headline Glastonbury Festival next year, however this announcement has seemed to shift the possibility of them playing two major UK festivals in one year.
