With their highly-anticipated new album set to drop near the end of the year, The Avalanches have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Interstellar Love' sees them team up with the ever-impressive Leon Bridges for the release, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Take Care In Your Dreaming', 'Music Makes Me High', 'Running Red Lights', 'Reflecting Light', 'Wherever You Go' and the record's title-track in previewing their new LP 'We Will Always Love You', which arrives on the 11th December.
Speaking about the new offering, The Avalanches’ Robbie Chater said, “Leon is an incredible singer, with just the most beautiful voice. He’s from Texas but we both happened to be in L.A. at the same time, which was lucky as he was on my all-time wish list. When we were in the studio, I told him the story about Ann Druyan and Carl Sagan and how her love-struck brain waves were sent out into space on the Voyager’s Golden Record. And this song came out of that.”
