Babeheaven return with new single 'The Hours'

Following on from the release of their impressive debut album 'Home For Now' last last year, Babeheaven have now returned to deliver a brand new single.

The new track 'The Hours' was premiered on Lauren Laverne's BBC 6Music show, and marks their first piece of new material since their initial full-length.

Speaking about the new offering, singer Nancy Andersen said, “When writing this song I was thinking a lot about the concept of time shifting and the realities that we end up repeating and reliving. I wanted to reflect the mundaneness of life in the chorus’ repetition of “on and on".

"I was also thinking about how irrelevant we can seem when compared to the vastness of the open sky. The feeling of loneliness that comes when you're sitting on the train looking at people whose worlds seem so far away. But also the unity in knowing that someone else might be feeling the same, remembering that all you need to do is reach out and find company. To be embraced by a community, to not feel alone even when you have been solitary for a while.”
