BC Camplight shares new single 'A Sober Conversation'

Ahead of his forthcoming album 'A Sober Conversation', out 27th June via Bella Union, BC Camplight has unveiled the title-track and its gripping new video. The track, which follows previous singles 'Two Legged Dog' (featuring Abigail Morris of The Last Dinner Party) and 'Where You Taking My Baby?', finds Brian Christinzio at his most emotionally raw and musically defiant.

Despite its anthemic, high-energy sound, 'A Sober Conversation' is a deeply personal reckoning with substance abuse and childhood trauma. Christinzio describes the song as a literal crash course through pain and self-confrontation: “When I found myself no longer able to stay one step ahead of my fears and memories, I stopped running… The talk was dark and disturbing but genuine and life-changing.”

The chant of “now’s the time for a sober conversation” hits like a mission statement. With the new video adding visual weight to the narrative, this track cements BC Camplight’s reputation for pairing emotional honesty with sonic brilliance.
