Burrow unveils debut single 'Spiral'

After spending the last year building and cultivating his direction, Boorloo/Perth-based newcomer Drew Kendell aka Burrow is now ready to introduce himself to the world as he unveils his debut single 'Spiral'.

Capturing a warm and euphoric indie-rock sound that looks to pay homage to the likes of The National and The War On Drugs with its soaring aesthetic, 'Spiral' makes for a wonderfully inviting introduction to the emerging artist. With a broad and dynamic texture, soaring atmosphere, and his own mesmerising voice at the helm, he is definitely a name worth keeping a firm eye on for the future.

Speaking about his new offering, he said, “Debut single ‘Spiral’ is an exploration of perfectionistic behaviour, patterns rooted in fear and coping mechanisms that no longer serve me. It’s a reminder to connect with my inner child and know that life is a process and being human is a process.”

While this is only his first release to date, Burrow is already showcasing a quality and talent far beyond his years. With such a bold and driven approach to his songwriting and production, we can't wait to hear where this journey will take him next.
