The Chemical Brothers - 'For That Beautiful Feeling'

8/10

For the last three decades, The Chemical Brothers have stood as the pinnacle of thousands of electronic producer's ambitions around the world. With a brilliantly sprawling and innovative catalogue that has seen them infiltrate both the mainstream and underground scenes for years, they have remained one of the most consistent examples of their arena for as long as most people can remember. And now after the huge response to their 2019 LP 'No Geography', they return once again with their tenth studio album 'For That Beautiful Feeling', a record that continues their proficient ideals once again.

Throughout much of the first twenty years of their career, The Chemical Brothers seemed to favour collaborations over original instrumentals, making their earlier work a who's-who of impactful special guests. But much like their last outing, 'For That Beautiful Feeling' focuses more on the natural clubbing experience the pair have rekindled their love for recently. Keeping the guest vocals few and far between with little to no gap between the track changes, this new record plays more like a DJ set of fun and fresh outings that keeps the energy moving forward throughout.

Very much keeping their newfound direction tightly packed together once again, 'For That Beautiful Feeling' is another strong return from a duo that never seem to falter. With its adventurous and captivating attitude at the forefront, The Chemical Brothers continue their legacy in effervescent style from start to finish.
