Isle of Wight indie force Coach Party have joined forces with fellow UK alt-rock favourites Black Honey for their new single 'Disco Dream', a glitter-streaked, emotionally charged anthem taken from Coach Party’s forthcoming sophomore album 'Caramel', out on the 26th September via Chess Club Records.
A potent collision of two of the UK’s most magnetic frontwomen, 'Disco Dream' is part rage, part release. With serrated guitars, punchy beats, and a chorus made to scream along to in a sweat-drenched crowd, the track captures the chaos of loneliness turned defiance.
“Disco Dream is a solo riot, and all it wants is to get to the dance floor,” says Coach Party’s Jess Eastwood. “It’s rage you can dance to—about embracing loneliness and making it yours. A self-love anthem, but also self-sabotage at its finest.”
Black Honey’s Izzy Bee adds: “I loved working with Coach Party. The solo party narrative of the song really speaks to me. There’s power in being alone.”
'Disco Dream' follows a string of singles teasing 'Caramel', including 'Do It For Love', 'Do Yourself A Favour', and 'GIRLS!', all of which have earned critical praise and widespread airplay (BBC 6Music, DIY, Dork, Kerrang!, FLOOD, Consequence, Paste, and more). As with the rest of the album, the track was self-produced by the band and sees them refining their chaotic indie-rock punch with sharper songwriting and richer emotional depth.
