Daft Punk have split up

With four studio albums, countless accolades, and a legacy as one of the greatest dance outfits that ever existed, Daft Punk have announced that they are no more.

Making the announcement through a new video called 'Epilogue', producers Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have decided to go their separate ways but have yet to offer any explanation behind their decision.

The band's last studio album 'Random Access Memories' in 2013 proved to be one of their biggest releases of their career, selling millions of copies, but they never toured the release. Daft Punk had not played live since their Alive tour in 2007.
