According to those close to the legendary singer and artist, David Bowie is planning to release a new studio album early next year.
The new full-length 'Blackstar' will consist of seven brand new tracks and was recorded at New York’s Magic Shop studio with a number of jazz musicians.
The record also alleges to be a free-form jazz affair and has been described as "totally bonkers" by those in the know.
'Blackstar' is said to be set for release on the 8th January, with the title-track serving as the lead-single, arriving on the 19th November.
