The Decemberists busk to announce new album

To announce the release of their forthcoming new studio album 'What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World', The Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy took to the streets Williamsburg, New York to busk some of the band's new material.

The vocalist performed the new work in front of a mural, expected to be the new album's cover, on Friday afternoon (24th October) where one fan managed to record some of his performance.

The new full-length 'What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World' is expected to be available sometime in January via Capitol, and you can watch some of the busking in the player below.
