Django Django announce new album 'Doveland'

Django Django have announced their sixth studio album 'Doveland', with the release of its poignant lead single 'Cameos', a thoughtful and emotionally rich introduction to what promises to be the band’s most intimate record yet.

Set for release on the 6th November, 'Doveland' takes inspiration from the internet myth of a town that seemingly never existed, using the idea of chasing an unreachable place as the foundation for a collection of songs rooted in memory, loss and self-reflection. While the concept remains dreamlike, 'Cameos' grounds the record in deeply human emotions, exploring grief, fleeting relationships and the lasting impact people leave on our lives.

Written during a period marked by profound personal loss for the group, 'Cameos' reflects on how individuals move through our lives like passing characters in a much larger story. Its introspective tone sets the stage for an album shaped as much by real-life experiences as imagination, with the band channelling years of change into a more emotionally direct body of work.
