After seven years since her last studio full-length, pioneering Irish singer-songwriter Enya has returned with a new album.
The vocalist's eighth studio release 'Dark Sky Island' is the first album she has released since 2008's 'And Winter Came...' and has actually been in the works for the past three years.
Speaking about the new record, Enya said, “This album has a theme of journeys. Journeys to the island; through the length of a lifetime; through history, through emotions; and journeys across great oceans. So although it’s not a ‘themed’ album, as such, we nevertheless have an underlying connection between songs.”
'Dark Sky Island' will be available to own from the 20th November, and you can now stream the album's lead single 'Echoes In The Rain' in the player below.
