Future Islands announce Record Store Day single 'The Chase'

The track was recently recorded at London's Abbey Road Studios

During a hectic touring schedule throughout this year, US outfit Future Islands managed to find the time to record a new track as an exclusive Record Store Day release.

The new single 'The Chase' was recorded directly to vinyl at London's Abbey Road Studios with mastering engineer Chris Wright last month in order for it to be released for the annual event, which takes place on Saturday 18th April.

The track is the first piece of new material from the band since their 2014 debut album 'Singles' and you can watch a live rendition of the song from a recent show at London's Roundhouse in the player below.
