What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

I picked up my first guitar at 7 years old. I’ve been in love ever since.

What kind of music did you love when you were younger?

I loved Classic rock 60’s,70’s 80’s, 90’s. All of it.

What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?

There’s a list of answers for this one, I’ve been playing a lot of pink floyd this week and ‘Wish You Were Here’ is one of those “perfect” songs.

Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?

I don’t tie myself to any one thing. I allow the creative act to flow through me as it comes. It isn’t something you always have control over, I’ll keep working at it so when the wave of inspiration arrives I’m prepared.

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

The Avett Brothers. Bucket list show for me.

What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?

I love hearing my music live. In a big room played by real people.

And what is the most frustrating part?

Frustration is normal. It’s okay to see a tall mountain in front of you and think it might be impossible. I’m sure most artists feel this way. All you can do is keep taking the next step.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

Just Keep Moving Forward. It's as simple as that.
