Giorgio Moroder announces new solo album '74 Is The New 24'

Disco pioneer and all-round musical legend Giorgio Moroder has announced that he will be releasing a new solo album next year, his first in nearly 30 years.

The new record '74 Is The New 24' will feature guest collaborations with Charli XCX, Sia, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko and Foxes, and is expected to arrive early next year.

Speaking about the new release, Moroder said, "Dance music doesn’t care where you live. It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn’t care how much money you make. It doesn't care if [you are] 74 or if you are 24 because… 74 is the new 24!"
