With their eagerly-awaited new album set to arrive later next month, Ibibio Sound Machine have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Wanna Come Down' follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Tell Me (Doko Mien)' and 'Basquiat' in previewing their third studio LP 'Doko Mien', set to arrive on the 22nd March through Merge Records.
Speaking about the new release, frontwoman Eno Williams said, “The Ibibio lyrics of the track are about the healing power of the river and the chorus. ‘Wanna come down, get ready ‘coz we’re gonna go’ is inviting people to come, dance and get involved with what’s going on.”
