After the rousing response to their much-loved EP '¡Distortionista!' last year, Arizona-based outfit Joan Of Arkansas are looking to continue their vibrant ascent with the release of their stunning new album 'Imperfectionists'.
Featuring the previously shared anthem 'Final Girl Semifinalist', this new thirteen-track collection makes for a raw and infectious listen from start to finish. Capturing more of that bold and driven "sludge pop" aesthetic they have crafted for themselves, 'Imperfectionists' sees them continue to cement themselves as one of the more distinctive and exciting names on the rise right now.
While these last few years have certainly been a prolific period for the five-piece, 'Imperfectionists' shows that they are still brimming with fresh and inventive ideas in which to explore. With such a firm and focused approach to their direction throughout, they are definitely ones to keep a firm eye on for the months ahead.
