Lana Del Rey announces new album 'Norman Fucking Rockwell'

Having returned last month to share the single 'Mariners Apartment Complex', Lana Del Rey has now announced her plans for a new studio album in the coming months.

The new full-length 'Norman Fucking Rockwell' follows on from her 2017 LP 'Lust For Life', was produced by Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff, and was discussed in an interview with Zane Lowe for his Beats 1 radio show last night.

Speaking about the new album, she explained "Working with Jack [Antonoff], I was in a little bit of a lighter mood because he was so funny. So the title track is called “Norman Fucking Rockwell,” and it’s kind of about this guy who is such a genius artist but he thinks he’s the shit and he knows it and he won’t shut up talking about it. So often I ended up with these creative types or whatever and, you know, they just go on and on about themselves, and I’m like, Yeah, yeah. But there’s a little bit of merit to it also. They are so good. I just like the title track so much that I was like, OK, I definitely want the record to also be called that."

No mention of when the new record is coming out, but she has now shared the next cut to be lifted from the release, 'Venice Bitch', which you can check out in the player below.
