Following on from the release of his highly-praised debut album 'Everything Viewed Backwards Through The Rearviewmirror', Edinburgh-based artist Mike Baillie aka The Lonely Together makes his vibrant return with the unveiling of his heartfelt new single 'City Lights'.
Produced by Rod Jones (Idlewild/Hamish Hawk/Katie Gregson-MacLeod) and Baillie himself, and preceding his upcoming collection 'Endless Sunset Oblivion', 'City Lights' makes for a wonderfully warm and shimmering listen. With his bright yet humbled voice layered across a stripped-back acoustic-led production, this new offering will pull at your heartstrings from start to finish.
Although these last few years have been extremely prolific for the artist at the helm, 'City Lights' still manages to capture a fresh and inventive sound throughout. With such a bold and confident approach to his songwriting, we can't wait to hear what he has to offer again in the coming months.
