Following on from the release of her captivating debut single 'Hindsight' last year, which received airplay on BBC London and was supported on countless Spotify playlists, London-based singer-songwriter Luka Powell has now made her eagerly-awaited return with her sophomore effort 'Colourblind'.
Channelling more of that warm and effervescent pop-rock direction she is building for herself, 'Colourblind' makes for a wonderfully rich and mesmerising listen. Filled with light and driven textures, a soaring atmosphere, and her own vibrant vocals at the helm, she looks set to continue her upward ascent with this shimmering new cut.
Despite it only being the second release of her career so far, Luka Powell is already showcasing a fresh and kaleidoscopic aesthetic far beyond her years. With such a sweet and alluring approach to her songwriting and production, we hope she doesn't leave it this long again before her next offering.
