Having spent the last few months releasing never-before-heard studio session material, as well as launching her own book club and making a cameo appearance in Apple TV’s first British scripted original ‘Trying’, singer-songwriter Maisie Peters now returns to deliver a brand new single.
The new track 'Sad Girl Summer' was written alongside Steph Jones (Selena Gomez, P!nk) and production duo AftrHrs (Niall Horan, GRACEY), and becomes her second piece of new material this year after 'The List', which landed back in May.
Speaking about her new offering, she said, "I wrote Sad Girl Summer at the beginning of summer 2019, which ironically went on to be one of the best summers of my life! The song is all about letting go of things and people that aren’t worth your precious time and energy, and celebrating the people in your life that are."
