After cementing herself with a flurry of highly-praised releases throughout last year, Portland-based artist Mary Knoblock is now back once again to deliver her sprawling new studio album 'Halo'.
Featuring the previously shared gems 'Chrome' and 'Heaven's Bride', this new fourteen-track collection makes for a brilliantly warm and immersive listen. Jam-packed with rich and emotive textures, a shimmering atmosphere, and her own ethereal vocals layered throughout, 'Halo' continues to establish her as one of the more captivating names on the rise right now.
While this past year was certainly an extremely busy time for her, 'Halo' shows that she is still brimming with plenty of fresh and illuminating ideas in which to pursue. With such a strong and confident grasp over her direction once again, she is definitely one to keep a firm eye on for the months ahead as well.
