The National share new single 'New Order T-Shirt'

With their highly-anticipated new album landing in the coming months, The National have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'New Order T-Shirt' follows on from the previously shared lead track 'Tropic Morning News' in previewing their ninth LP 'First Two Pages of Frankenstein', which is out on the 28th April via 4AD.

Speaking about the new offering, the band's Aaron Dessner said, "To me the line 'I keep what I can of you' means something about everyone I’ve ever known or loved. There’s a simplicity to 'New Order T-Shirt' that reminds me of our earlier records, but with the full maturity and experience we have now. It feels like a really important song for the future of our band."
